Joanna Scott, Ph.D. is a NYS licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. She founded JRS Psychology in 2014 after completing post-doctoral training at the University of Rochester. Throughout her training and practice, Dr. Scott has worked in a variety of settings with clients from diverse backgrounds. As a graduate of a combined clinical-developmental doctoral program, she brings a family systems and lifespan approach to understanding clients in their specific contexts. Her experience covers a breadth of areas, but always involves collaboration and deep, careful listening to client needs and goals.

*Of special note, Dr. Scott has trained extensively in treatments for Obsessive-Compulsive and anxiety disorders with some of the leading experts in the field, including Dr. Jonathan Grayson, author of "Freedom from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder". She offers both treatment for OCD sufferers as well as consultation for family members/loved ones and for other health professionals.
